Croatia Travel and Vacation – Good to know

No visa requirement for Schengen countries! For other countries, a visa is required, which can be applied for in advance through the Croatian embassy or online. The visa application is not possible at the airport, so it is better to inform and plan in advance. Please check if additional documents are needed to ensure a smooth entry.
Zagreb (ZAG) is the largest airport and has the most international connections. Alternatives are Split (SPU) for coastal trips or Rijeka (RJK) for off-road adventures in Gorski Kotar. From the airports, there are transfer services and car rental providers to easily start your journey. Plan your transportation in advance, especially during the high season!
