Adventure travel to Rwanda: Discover nature, culture & adventure

Rwanda is one of Africa's most rewarding destinations for gorilla trekking and wildlife adventure. Track mountain gorillas through the volcanic forests of Volcanoes National Park, where close-range encounters with gorilla families offer a rare wildlife experience. Rwanda safari tours take you deep into Nyungwe National Park for chimpanzee trekking along ancient rainforest trails, as well as to Akagera National Park for savanna game drives spotting lions, elephants, and hippos. A Rwanda gorilla safari can be combined with kayaking and water sports on Lake Kivu, cultural visits to Kigali's vibrant markets, and local cuisine including Isombe and Ugali. Rwanda's year-round mild climate and compact geography make it easy to cover multiple parks in a single itinerary.
