MOTORCYCLE-TOURS · GEORGIA
This enduro motorcycle trip through western Georgia takes you on about 800 km from the subtropical Black Sea to the high mountain region of Svaneti.
The Journey
On the trail of the Argonauts, this enduro tour through Western Georgia leads you through a land of extremes: in just a few hours of riding you move from the subtropical Black Sea climate into the glacier world of the Greater Caucasus. The journey begins in Batumi, follows red-clay trails through the forests of Adjara and climbs to the Goderdzi Pass at 3,000 m. Via Kutaissi, with the UNESCO monastery of Gelati and the Prometheus Caves, it heads up into Svaneti, past medieval watchtowers all the way to Ushguli. The terrain is technical but accessible, with around 70 % offroad, a guide and a support vehicle always within reach.
Your safety is our top priority. On our enduro tours you can expect varied routes, from unpaved paths and winding mountain roads to sand, gravel and stone tracks. That is why we fit our motorcycles exclusively with high-quality tires from renowned manufacturers in Germany and Europe.
Whether you already have plenty of offroad experience or are on an enduro for the first time, our tours suit every riding level. We support you exactly where you need it and give you practical tips along the way so you can improve your riding technique step by step.
If it turns out during the tour that the planned route profile does not suit the group, we adjust the route flexibly. That way everyone rides safely while enjoying the greatest possible riding fun.
Georgia
This enduro trip takes you right across Western Georgia: from subtropical Batumi on the Black Sea over the Goderdzi Pass and Kutaissi into the high-mountain region of Svaneti. Around 800 km with an offroad share of about 70 %, spectacular passes and the famous Georgian hospitality await you in the saddle.
You land at Kutaissi Airport and are taken in about an hour to Batumi, the relaxed port city on the Black Sea with its mild subtropical climate. After check-in there is time to explore the old town, where modern skyscrapers meet ancient buildings. In the afternoon a test ride makes sure your motorcycle is set up perfectly for you. It runs through the subtropical forests around Batumi, partly on red clay. Be sure to bring your passport, as permits are required for the forest tracks near the border. The evening ends with a shared Georgian dinner.
Early in the morning you say goodbye to Batumi and ride through the subtropical forests of Adjara toward the mountains. The first kilometers follow a pass road along the Adschariszqali River, lined with lush vegetation. The mountains of Adjara do not reach the heights of the Greater Caucasus but offer plenty of variety with climbs, descents and refreshing river crossings. Past picturesque mountain villages you reach the Goderdzi Pass at 3,000 m in the Lesser Caucasus by evening. Distance: 185 km.
Today you continue to Kutaissi. The road conditions are varied and demand your riding skill. In the morning you cross the Lesser Caucasus, past shepherd villages with their typical wooden houses and alpine meadows with views of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Downhill you reach the spa town of Abastumani, where a lunch break by the river with freshly prepared trout awaits. In the evening you reach Kutaissi, once the capital of ancient Colchis. Optionally you visit the UNESCO monastery of Gelati. Distance: 140 km.
The most scenic day takes you into the heart of the Caucasus to Svaneti. First you visit the famous Prometheus Caves with their stalactites and stalagmites. Then you climb into the high mountains, into the remote region of Svaneti in the northwest of Georgia. The picturesque town of Mestia is a must for every motorcycle lover and has stayed down to earth. Along the way you see original villages where time seems to stand still. For more than half the day you ride offroad through the landscapes of Svaneti. Distance: 180 km.

Today Ushguli is the goal, the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe at around 2,200 m. Here stand the famous watchtowers of Ushguli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The altitude gives you a breathtaking view of steep slopes and the snow-capped peaks of the Caucasus. In the late afternoon you return to Mestia and admire once more Shkhara, at 5,200 m the highest mountain in Georgia. Distance: 100 km.
Your enduro trip through Western Georgia draws to a close. Riding downhill you enjoy the last views of the mountain landscape of Svaneti. After a few hours in the saddle you reach Kutaissi, the final stop of the tour. Distance: 180 km.
To wrap up, the transfer takes you to the airport. With the impressions of the Black Sea coast, the Goderdzi Pass and the watchtowers of Svaneti in your luggage, your enduro trip through Western Georgia comes to an end.
