Tanzania Safari: Serengeti & Zanzibar Tour

This tanzania safari begins in Nairobi. After leaving the city behind, we travel south to the Tanzanian border, complete border formalities, and continue to Arusha — the gateway to northern Tanzania and base for the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Kilimanjaro. Overnight in Arusha.

A full day in the Serengeti on a guided game drive through the Seronera corridor, the park's most wildlife-dense zone. Leaving Karatu, we stop at the market town of Mto wa Mbu, known for its red bananas and the crossroads between the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Arusha. The route continues through changing landscapes — highland coffee plantations, open savanna, and rural villages — before arriving in Moshi with views toward Kilimanjaro on clear days. We drive to Dar es Salaam and board the ferry for the two-hour crossing to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, we head to the northern shore of the island. We leave Nungwi and head to Stone Town, stopping along the way at active spice plantations where farmers climb trees and harvest cloves, vanilla, and cinnamon. In Stone Town we join a guided walking tour through the Swahili and Arab heritage of the old quarter, including the birthplace of Freddie Mercury.
