  • Officially, an international driver's license is not required in Ukraine if you have an EU driver's license. However, it can't hurt.

  • You need the vehicle registration, and if you are not the vehicle owner, you also need a power of attorney from the owner in Ukrainian/English confirming that you are allowed to drive the vehicle in the EU.

  • Yes! Ideally, you won't need it at all. Special equipment for snake bites or the like is not necessary.

  • It's better to have one and not need it than the other way around. The gas station network in Ukraine is very good, so we don’t need to carry large amounts of fuel. However, situations can arise where an "extra liter" may be useful, for example, if a vehicle should lose fuel.

  • That depends on your vehicle and its condition. As a general rule: What you bring along never breaks.

  • Our guides have our expedition kitchen with them. Tasks such as chopping, cooking, and washing up will be done together as a group. Shopping will be done by our guides with a few volunteers. Your food wishes will, of course, be considered as much as possible. According to the motto "many hands make light work". As a special treat, we will be accompanied by a Tunisian cook during the desert stage, who will provide us with delicious meals.
