The Pyrenees Adventure Tour takes you on a unique motorcycle journey from Barcelona to San Sebastián and offers impressive highlights: From the Costa Brava with its steep coasts and hidden bays, it continues to Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of Spain. At the Dalí Museum in Figueres, you will experience surreal art up close. You ride through volcanic landscapes, dense forests, and winding mountain roads to the Basque Country, where green hills and wild beaches await you. On the return journey to Barcelona, you can look forward to the wine region of La Rioja and the beautiful limestone mountains of the southern Pyrenees.

Introduction to the motorcycle trip through the Pyrenees
Welcome to an exciting motorcycle journey through the impressive Pyrenees! This trip offers not only fascinating landscapes but also cultural treasures waiting to be discovered. The route takes us from the vibrant city of Barcelona along breathtaking coastal roads, charming villages, and challenging passes in the French and Spanish Pyrenees. Over the next few days, we will ride on winding roads through stunning nature, explore well-known and unknown places, and enjoy the regional cuisine. You can expect not only an unforgettable adventure on two wheels but also the opportunity to make new friendships and experience the beauty of nature up close.
Daily program: From the Mediterranean to the Atlantic Ocean
Day 1: Arrival in Barcelona
You will be picked up directly at Barcelona Airport and comfortably taken to the hotel from which your exciting motorcycle journey begins the next day. After a short but detailed introduction to the motorcycles and the course of the trip, there will be a welcome dinner where you can meet the other participants. Barcelona is one of the most fascinating cities in Europe and a true gem on the Mediterranean. The city is not only the birthplace of Art Nouveau, shaped by Gaudí and his stunning buildings, but also a place where modern architecture meets medieval heritage. The historic city center with its narrow, winding streets and squares offers a unique charm that you will experience on your tour. At the welcome dinner in the old town of Barcelona, you can expect a brilliant mix of modern and classic cuisine, prepared with high-quality ingredients from the Mediterranean kitchen. Here you can look forward to culinary highlights that perfectly harmonize with the flair of the city.
Day 2: from Barcelona to Figueres
We leave the vibrant city and cruise along the Costa Brava, the legendary rocky coast of Catalonia, enchanting with its countless hidden coves and dramatic cliffs. After a short stretch on the highway, the route leads us through the densely populated areas until we reach the winding roads of the Costa Brava - a brilliant motorcycle route that makes every rider's heart race. Here we are greeted by beautiful beaches, secluded coves, and breathtaking coastal landscapes. We stop in the charming coastal town of Calella and the medieval village of Pals before continuing to cruise through the Spanish Tuscany. Our destination is the idyllic Cadaqués and the Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of the Spanish mainland. On spectacular roads winding through the rugged coastal landscape, we reach the impressively located Monasterio de Sant Pere before continuing to Figueres - the home of the famous Dalí Museum. About 290 km
Day 3: From Figueres to Puigcerda
On our way, we make a short but unforgettable stop at the Salvador Dalí Museum - a true masterpiece of the artist that he designed himself in his hometown. The museum houses a stunning collection of his surrealistic works and is a real art highlight thanks to its unique architecture featuring eggs and the distinctive dome. It is a place that brings Dalí's creative genius to life in an impressive way. After this cultural experience, we continue to the picturesque town of Besalú before crossing the fascinating volcanic region of Olot. The Garrotxa Volcanoes National Park awaits us with its unique landscape of extinct volcanoes and lush nature. Slowly, the first foothills of the Pyrenees begin to appear, and we drive along winding mountain passes that make any motorcyclist's heart race. Finally, we reach the idyllic, centrally located town of Puigcerdà, which prepares us with its charming atmosphere for the upcoming adventures in the Pyrenees. Approx. 200 km
Day 4: From Puigcerda to Vielha
Without noticing it, we cross the border into France and start the drive over the legendary Col de Puymorens, which leads us to a spectacular border area with Andorra. The Port d'Envalira, the highest pass in Europe, opens the gate to Andorra - a country nestled between the highest peaks of the Pyrenees, leaving us in awe of its majestic landscape. From here, we continue along remote side roads and historical smuggling paths that lead us back to Spain. We reach the idyllic valley of Vall d'Aneu, surrounded by imposing mountain formations, allowing us to dive deep into the wild and romantic nature of the Pyrenees. The Port de la Bonaigua pass grants us breathtaking views of the protected Aigüestortes mountain massif. Finally, we reach Vielha, our charming overnight destination, which welcomes us with its traditional architecture and typical mountain village atmosphere, setting the mood for a relaxing evening. A day full of adventurous mountain roads, breathtaking nature, and unique culture that perfectly prepares us for the upcoming challenges in the Pyrenees. About 250 km
Day 5: From Vielha to Jaca
The day of the great French passes - a true highlight for all motorcycle enthusiasts! We follow the legendary trails of the Tour de France and set off for France to be enchanted by the spectacular views of the imposing central Pyrenean mountain range. On this epic route, we can expect thousands of winding roads that lead us through one of the most beautiful motorcycle regions in Europe. We tackle the notorious mountain passes of the Tour de France: Col de Peyresourde, which is considered a classic with its steep ascents and breathtaking views; the legendary Col du Tourmalet, which stands at 2,115 meters as the highest drivable pass in the French Pyrenees, and the Col d'Aubisque, which makes the true heart of every motorcyclist beat faster with its beauty and demanding curves. After enjoying the grand mountain landscapes of the Pyrenees, we continue our journey and ride back to Spain. The Rio Gallego accompanies us on our descent through the valley, whose idyllic nature and untouched beauty enchant us. Finally, we reach the charming Jaca, a historic mountain town that, with its medieval flair and panorama, provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing conclusion to this spectacular motorcycle adventure. Day 6: From Jaca to Pamplona
Through the lovely valleys of Hecho, Ansó, and Belagua, we go over the Col St. Martin to France, there on small back roads through the Arbouty forest area and back to Spain over the Puerto de Larrau. Through the Irati forests, we reach France again and the medieval town of St. Jean-Pied-de-Port, the official starting point of the Camino de Santiago to Santiago de Compostela. Now partly following the Camino, we travel over Roncesvalles to the fortified city of Pamplona. Today’s journey takes us through the idyllic valleys of Hecho, Ansó, and Belagua, where we set off on winding roads over the Col St. Martin to France. There, we are greeted by small, remote back roads that lead us through untouched forest areas before we pass the legendary Puerto de Larrau and dive back into Spain. We cross the majestic Irati forests, one of the largest and most beautiful beech and oak forests in Europe, before we cross the border again and reach the historic town of St. Jean-Pied-de-Port - the official starting point of the famous Camino de Santiago to Santiago de Compostela. Now, in the footsteps of pilgrims, we travel a bit along the Camino and reach the impressive Roncesvalles before rolling into the legendary fortified city of Pamplona. Pamplona, known for the famous bull run and its historic old town, is a true highlight on this epic motorcycle route. Here, history merges with modern flair, and the winding roads offer perfect views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. About 330 km
Day 7: From Pamplona to San Sebastián
After we cross the border into France again, we continue our journey along the winding side roads through the Basque Country. The road meanders through mountainous landscapes, dense forests, and charming villages typical of this fascinating region. Each curve brings us closer to our destination - the seaside city of San Sebastián on the Atlantic coast. This gem of the Basque Country offers not only spectacular views of the ocean but also an impressive old town that invites exploration. The afternoon is yours - whether you want to enjoy La Concha beach with its golden sand and crystal-clear water or let yourself drift through the winding alleys of the old town. In the evening, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant life of the city. In the traditional tapas bars, we taste the world-famous Pintxos, a Basque variation of tapas that have become true works of art in San Sebastián. Accompanied by a glass of Txakoli, the refreshing local white wine, we stylishly wind down the day and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this gastronomic capital. About 180 km
Day 8: From San Sebastián to SOS del Rey Católico
First, still through humid coastal areas, we continue deeper into the mainland until we reach the Bardenas Reales, the largest desert in Europe! In the afternoon, we explore this unique desert area that strongly resembles Death Valley before we head to the medieval mountain village of Sos Del Rey Catolico. We start our day through the humid, green coastal areas and leave the salty sea air behind us as we venture deeper into the Spanish interior. The route eventually leads us to one of the most impressive natural wonders of Europe - the Bardenas Reales, the largest desert in Spain and a nearly surreal desert area. This steppe-like landscape strongly resembles the world-famous Death Valley and fascinates with its sandy plains, extravagant rock formations, and the characteristic table mountains that rise from the barren soil. In the afternoon, we delve deep into this nature reserve and explore the fascinating desert landscape that has been recognized by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve. Here, where the wind stirs up the dust and nature shines in pure, untouched beauty, you feel as if you are in another world. After this epic desert experience, our route continues to the medieval mountain village of Sos del Rey Católico, which towers on a hill and is surrounded by medieval walls. This charming village in the province of Zaragoza holds historical significance as it was the birthplace of King Ferdinand II of Aragon. The steep alleys, the historic buildings, and the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape make Sos a true gem of Spanish history. About 300 km
Day 9: From Sos del Rey Católico to Barcelona
Today we can expect a spectacular ride through the heart of the central Pyrenees, where mountain roads wind like endless loops through the majestic peaks. We will tackle some of the region's most legendary mountain passes, which are perfect for motorcyclists who love the feeling of freedom on winding roads. The panoramic views of the increasingly greener landscape turn the adventure in the Pyrenees into an unforgettable experience. Our route takes us through increasingly Mediterranean areas, where the warm winds of the Mediterranean are already mixing with the mountain air. The scent of pine forests, lemon trees, and the fresh coastal breeze accompanies us as we get closer to the vibrant city of Barcelona. However, before we reach the Mediterranean metropolis, we encounter another highlight of the motorbike trip: the impressive Montserrat. It is a true natural wonder and one of the most beautiful mountains in Europe. With its pointed rocks and striking peaks that stand dramatically against the sky, this mountain offers an unforgettable panorama. The Montserrat Monastery, which perches on the steep slopes, attracts not only pilgrims but also nature lovers and adventurers who wish to enjoy the mountain world and the spiritual atmosphere. After this stopover, we continue to the lively Barcelona, where we look forward to an urban discovery tour after an impressive ride through the Pyrenees and the beautiful Mediterranean landscape. Day 10: Departure
Today is the time to say goodbye. We are taking you to the airport, where you will begin your return flight - yet the unforgettable impressions of this motorcycle trip will stay with you for a long time. The winding passes, the breathtaking landscapes, and the cultural experiences will remain in your memory forever. As a small memento, we present you with our farewell gift before you embark on your journey home with many good memories. We hope to welcome you again soon on one of our next adventure tours!
