Daily program: An Enduro off-road adventure through Sardinia
Day 1: Arrival from Genoa or Arrival at Olbia Airport
Our meeting point is the harbor in Genoa, from where we will take the night ferry to Olbia. For those arriving by plane, they will arrive on this day and meet us the next morning at the hotel. The rest of us will use the evening on the ferry to get to know each other a bit over a cold beer and to get in the mood for the upcoming adventure.
Day 2: Arrival in Sardinia
In the morning, the ferry arrives in Olbia, and after our arrival, we head straight to the hotel to meet the other participants. After a first coffee and a short meeting where we go through the upcoming stages and highlights of the tour, we get on our motorcycles. The first leg of the day then takes us directly into the wild nature of Sardinia, passing by picturesque landscapes, impressive mountain ranges, and hidden paths that are just waiting for true adventurers. Here begins our adventure, which takes us through breathtaking off-road routes and historic places.
Day 3: Visit to small mountain villages
Our today's stage takes us to the legendary bandit village of Orgosolo, which is known today primarily for its impressive murals. These fascinating wall paintings tell the story of the locals, the shepherds, and the bitter struggle for land and territory with dramatic representations. The artworks reflect the history and resistance of the region and provide a deep insight into Sardinian culture. After this cultural stop, we continue on to visit Fonni, the highest village in Sardinia. Located at nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, Fonni not only offers an impressive view but also an insight into the traditional life of the mountain dwellers. This stage combines nature, history, and culture, allowing us to experience Sardinia from its most authentic side.
Day 4: Offroad Highlight
We spend today in the impressive mountains of Supramonte and Gennargentu, which spread out before us like a huge, untouched paradise of nature. On winding off-road trails, we drive through wild valleys and steep mountain landscapes that reward us again and again with views. Around every bend lies a new adventure - whether it's a hidden gorge, a quaint hiking path, or a remote plateau only accessible by motorcycle. These mountain massifs are among the wildest and most fascinating regions of Sardinia and provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable off-road experience.
Day 5: Relaxation by the water or culture
Today we are taking a well-deserved break and enjoying a relaxing day by the turquoise water. Whether sunbathing on one of the dreamlike beaches, taking a refreshing dip in the sea, or going on a cozy boat trip - here we can let our souls dangle and allow the coastal landscape of Sardinia to take effect on us. The famous Costa Smeralda is definitely worth a visit to marvel at the view. Those who are interested in culture can make a short detour to local attractions to learn more about the history and traditions of the island. The day is all about relaxation, and everyone can decide how they want to enjoy the paradisiacal atmosphere according to their wishes and moods.
Day 6: Flumendosa Reservoir
On the next morning we set off for the Flumendosa Reservoir, a true natural jewel that we should not miss. The reservoir offers not only breathtaking views but also a perfect opportunity to enjoy the quiet beauty of the Sardinian landscape. Afterwards, we visit the prehistoric stone buildings of the Nuraghe, which were built around 1600 to 400 BC. These mystical structures are a fascinating testament to Sardinian history and culture. Since 1997, they have been part of the UNESCO World Heritage and provide us with a unique insight into the life of the early Sardinians.
Day 7: Last Day
Today we drive along the spectacular west coast of Sardinia on small gravel paths that repeatedly offer us beautiful views of the sparkling sea. The route takes us further to the Sinis Peninsula, which, with its wide sandy beaches and picturesque lagoons, is one of the most beautiful regions of the island. Especially in winter, the lagoons are a true paradise for ornithologists, who can observe an impressive variety of birds here. In the evening we finally reach Olbia again. Over a final group dinner, we reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the tour once more. Then it's time to say goodbye - the guide and all those returning by ferry bid farewell, while the adventures of the past days will remain long in our memories.
Day 8: Journey home
Everyone who has arrived by plane is flying back home today - but the memories of this unforgettable off-road tour will last a long time. Those who wish can of course extend their vacation on their own for a few days to further explore Sardinia, relax, or experience new adventures.
