Daily program: Western Alps Offroad: Enduro Motorcycle Tours in Europe
Day 1: Arrival & Tour start in Turin
Your adventure begins with the individual journey to the Western Alps motorcycle tour. Whether with your own bike or by plane. Your machine is already waiting near Turin.
Over a joint dinner in the hotel, you will meet the guides and your fellow riders. The perfect prelude to a week full of dust, curves, and alpine freedom.
Day 2: We drive over the Colle de Colombardo, Colle dell’Assietta, Sestriere
The first riding day of your Western Alps motorcycle tour starts with legendary status. You roll into the Susa Valley over the Colle del Colombardo (1,889 m) before the Assietta Ridge Road calls: 40 kilometers of the finest gravel with views of the peaks of the Cottian Alps.
At the Colle delle Finestre, a day ends that gets you in the flow. BBQ, cool refreshment, and Alpine scenery included.
Day 3: Mountain Pass of Col de Sommeiller (2,995 m)
Today you reach the highest legally drivable point of the Alps. The Col de Sommeiller is the roof of your Western Alps motorcycle tour: A rough, spectacular climb that makes every enduro heart rejoice. At the top, a panorama and high-altitude air await.
Down in the valley, the well-deserved break and maybe even a bonus pass for those who can't get enough.
Day 4: Monte Jafferau & Forts
The Western Alps motorcycle tour takes you further to Monte Jafferau (2,805 m), a historic mountain with abandoned forts that tell of adventures from the past.
Through steep turns and tunnels, you reach the ruins with a view of Bardonecchia. Afterwards, depending on your energy level, an additional peak or a mountain lake awaits you.
Day 5: Col du Parpaillon
A myth among off-road drivers: The Col du Parpaillon with its unlit summit tunnel (2,637 m) brings real adventure feeling. Mud, scree, ice: Anything can happen, nothing is a must. Your West Alps motorcycle tour shows its wild side here.
On the other side of the tunnel, the Stura Valley opens up. Green, wide, and cinematic. You reach your hotel in Demonte via a connecting stage.
Day 6: Comb Street Maira-Stura-Comb Street
After breakfast, it’s off to the Maira-Stura ridge road, another classic of the Western Alps motorcycle tour.
Starting at Colle Valcavera, destination Marmora, a high route full of rhythm, rubble, and wide views. Up here between sky and stone, it becomes clear why the Western Alps are considered an Enduro mecca.
In the evening, you enjoy Alpine cuisine and stories at the table.
Day 7: Alta Via del Sale & conclusion at the Mediterranean
For the finale of your Western Alps motorcycle tour, pure off-road gold awaits: the Alta Via del Sale. 60 kilometers of historic military track along the Italian-French border will take you almost to the sea. Challenging, demanding, and unforgettable.
We will spend the evening in a typical agriturismo with a regional menu, a worthy conclusion to a tour that will resonate for a long time.
