You need a visa to enter Myanmar. It is not available at the airport. It is best to apply online through the official government website. The application process usually takes 3-5 business days. Airports

The best airport to fly into Myanmar is Yangon International Airport (RGN). It offers the most international connections and is an ideal starting point for motorcycle trips. Be sure to find a direct flight to Yangon. From there, you can travel to other cities by bus or train, although riding a motorcycle is an unforgettable experience.

Currency and Payment Methods

The local currency is the Myanmar Kyat (MMK). Credit cards are accepted in large cities like Yangon and Mandalay, but it is advisable to carry cash for rural areas. ATMs are available in larger cities, but they are often not functional. It is important to get enough cash in small denominations before traveling, so you can pay everywhere.

Vaccinations and Travel Insurance

Certain vaccinations are recommended for entering Myanmar. These include Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, and Tetanus. Travel insurance is also advisable to be covered in case of illness or accident.
