In the four corners of Brazil's adventure trip, you will experience a vibrant combination of culture, architecture, and natural beauty. The journey begins in Rio de Janeiro with everything even the most demanding traveler could wish for. The trip continues to the Iguazú Falls, where you will be enchanted by one of the most beautiful waterfalls in South America. After this abundance of nature, you will travel on to Manaus, the capital of the Amazon, and once again immerse yourself in the magic of the rainforest. The journey takes you further to Salvador, Bahia, which was the first capital of Brazil, where you will experience the rich culture of the Afro-Brazilian population.
Daily program: The Four Corners of Brazil Experience Trip
Day 01: Rio de Janeiro / approx. 27 km
Transfer from Rio de Janeiro Airport to Hotel. Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Rio de Janeiro offers an impressive backdrop with its lush vegetation, deep blue sea, and white beaches. The city is nestled between mountains and sea, shaped by its lovely inhabitants, the Cariocas. It offers a variety of cultural and entertaining opportunities, as well as numerous shopping experiences. The streets and sidewalks of Rio accommodate about eight million people and one million vehicles daily – cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, and scooters – all competing for space where only a third is available. However, this spectacular chaos does not diminish the enthusiasm of the Cariocas. For them, everything is relative – except for the wonder and beauty of Rio de Janeiro. Day 02: Rio de Janeiro / approx. 80 km
Included meals: Breakfast. Full-day excursion: City tour, Sugarloaf & Corcovado (8h). You leave the hotel and travel to the Cosme Velho Station, from where you take the cog train (*) through the Tijuca Forest to the 728m high Corcovado. The ride takes about 20 minutes and offers a beautiful view of the tropical vegetation, beaches, and city. Upon arrival at the top, after some steps, you reach the Christ statue. After enjoying this breathtaking view, you return by train. Then, you will travel along Rio’s famous beaches to the Urca neighborhood, where you ascend the 390m high Sugarloaf Mountain via cable car. After descending, the tour continues along Guanabara Bay and Flamingo Park towards the city center. Passing landmarks such as the Candelaria Church, Saint Sebastian Cathedral, the Lapa Arches, the Municipal Theatre, and the Museum of Modern Art, the tour ends at Confeitaria Colombo, a restaurant that opened in 1894 and is part of Brazilian history. The climax is the sambadrome, the annual venue for the famous carnival. Note: (*) If the cog train does not operate, transfers to and from will be provided by city-approved vans from the Largo do Machado parking lot. Day 03: Rio de Janeiro
Included meals: Breakfast. Free day. This day is at your leisure. Optional excursions can be booked through our local partner office: Optional: Full-day excursion to Petropolis. Petropolis was the summer residence of the Brazilian imperial family and is situated at an altitude of 850 meters. The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Imperial Museum, which displays the crown jewels. Note: The excursion can be booked privately or on a SIB basis (with other international travelers) and with an English-speaking guide. Optional: Half-day tour to the Olympic Boulevard including Museum of Tomorrow and Rio Art Museum (6h). With the revitalization of the downtown area, Rio is now a cultural center. The tour goes along the coastal promenade and ends with visits to the Rio Art Museum (MAR) and the Museum of Tomorrow. Optional: Grande Rio Samba School and Caipirinha tasting (2h). Visit the warehouse of one of the most famous samba schools, admire the costumes and floats, and learn more about the history of Samba and the carnival parades. Finally, you can participate in a Caipirinha tasting and a drumming and dance workshop. Notes: Available daily from 09:00 to 16:00 hours. Day 04: Rio de Janeiro – Iguassu / approx. 62 km
Included meals: Breakfast. Transfer from Hotel to Rio de Janeiro Airport. Flight from Rio de Janeiro to Iguassu (not included). Transfer from Iguassu Airport to Hotel. Visit the Brazilian side of the falls (2h 30min). Transfer to the airport and flight to Iguassu. In Iguassu, you will be transferred from the airport to the hotel. Iguassu – one of the greatest natural wonders of South Brazil, where 275 waterfalls plunge over an approximately 3 km wide precipice, generating a perpetual spray that is often crowned with rainbows. Afterwards, you will visit the Brazilian side of the waterfalls and enjoy a panoramic view from a viewpoint. A walkway leads you close to the Devil's Throat, surrounded by roaring water, mist, jungle, and rainbows. Truly a unique experience! Day 05: Iguassu / approx. 70 km
Included meals: Breakfast. Visit the Argentine side of the falls (6h). After breakfast, you will visit the Argentine side of the waterfalls. The drive crosses the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguassu River, which forms the natural border between Brazil and Argentina (short customs formalities at the border). While enjoying the panorama of the falls from the Brazilian side, you can walk very close to the waterfalls on the lower and upper circuit on the Argentine side. With the Ecological Jungle Train, you will travel to the Devil's Throat Station, from where a short walk leads you to the spectacular viewpoint of the Devil's Throat. Day 06: Iguassu – Manaus / approx. 18 km
Included meals: Breakfast. Transfer from Hotel to Airport. Flight from Iguassu to Manaus (not included). Transfer from Manaus Airport to Hotel in Manaus. After the transfer to the airport and flight to Manaus, you will be taken from the airport to the hotel. Manaus, the capital of the state of Amazonas, is located on the Rio Negro, just 6 km from the confluence with the Solimões, where the Amazon originates. In the mid-19th century, the city experienced a boom due to rubber cultivation and trade. Optional: Visit to the Bird Park including transfers (2h) – A conservation area where you can encounter over 900 tropical birds and 150 species of animals. Day 07: Manaus – Amazonas / approx. 75 km
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Transfer from Manaus Hotel to Ecopark Lodge. Amazon Ecopark Lodge Package (3 Days / 2 Nights) – on a group basis. Transfer from the hotel to the pier and start of the jungle excursion to the Amazon Ecopark Lodge. You will be welcomed with a tropical fruit juice. Here you will experience Amazonian flora and fauna up close, with jungle trekking, a visit to a monkey jungle, or a night canoe tour. Day 08: Amazon Package
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Amazon Package – on a group basis. Today you will take an excursion to the 'Meeting of the Waters', the confluence of the Rio Solimões into the Rio Negro. Here, the two rivers flow side by side for kilometers without mixing. Mid-range: Dinner and overnight at Amazon Ecopark, Comfort class: Dinner and overnight at Amazon Ecopark.
Day 09: Amazonas – Manaus / approx. 75 km
Included meals: Breakfast. Transfer from Ecopark Lodge to Manaus Hotel. City tour in Manaus. Transfer back to Manaus. You will see, among other things, the São Sebastian Square, the Custom House, and the Opera House, which was built entirely from European materials during the rubber boom. Day 10: Manaus – Salvador da Bahia / approx. 25 km

Transfer to the airport and flight to Salvador da Bahia. Salvador is known for its Afro-Brazilian culture and historic old town with baroque churches and monasteries. Day 11: Salvador da Bahia / approx. 30 km
Included meals: Breakfast. Half-day historical city tour (4h). You will explore colonial Brazil and Afro-Brazilian history. The tour starts in the Barra neighborhood and proceeds through Pelourinho, one of the largest baroque districts outside Europe. Optional: Bahia by Night – Dinner & Show with Afro-Brazilian music and dance (Capoeira). Day 12: Salvador da Bahia / approx. 25 km
Included meals: Breakfast. Transfer from Hotel to Salvador Airport. Your journey to the four corners of Brazil ends here, but we believe you will want to return someday! Transfer to the airport for the return flight to Europe. A beach extension can be booked upon request. All overnight stays during this tour will be in 3 or 4-star hotels (or comparable) in standard rooms. Attention: This tour is not an exclusive private tour, but a group tour.
