Chiang Mai – Arrival
Your 7-day motorcycle tour through northern Thailand begins at Chiang Mai Airport. We pick you up and drive 30 km north to the OVERCROSS base camp in Mae Malai. Depending on your arrival time, there may be time to visit a temple, explore a local market, or simply rest. The evening closes with a group dinner at the base camp.
Mae Malai – Mountain Exploration
After a hearty breakfast, everyone picks up their Honda CRF250 or KLX250 and the riding begins. Today explores the mountain region around the base camp to get comfortable on the bikes. The evening ends with a cold beer by the campfire at Mae Malai — a good start to the north Thailand 7 day moto tour.
Mae Malai – Doi Inthanon – Mae Chaem
The first major day of the doi inthanon motorcycle tour. An elephant camp by the river opens the morning, then an offroad route leads into Doi Inthanon National Park. A winding asphalt climb reaches the summit at 2565 m — Thailand’s highest point. Clear days reward with panoramic views over the north. The descent passes a waterfall and the first river crossing before arriving at the resort in Mae Chaem.
Mae Chaem – Pai
The longest offroad stage of this pai motorcycle tour in Thailand — over 100 km through the wilderness of the north. The track passes remote mountain villages at its own pace, with stop options depending on group ability. Pai is a small valley town with hot springs, mountain views, and a lively evening scene with restaurants and bars within walking distance of the resort.

Pai Loop – Cave and Waterfalls
A full day in the Huai Nam Dang National Park around Pai, extending to the Myanmar border. The highlight is Southeast Asia’s largest cave, with stalactites and stalagmites filling a chamber that sheltered locals during the Vietnam War. Pai – Chiang Dao
Another offroad day through the Huai Nam Dang National Park with mountain views across the northern highlands. By late afternoon the group reaches a bungalow resort in Chiang Dao.
