Off road on the motorcycle expedition
Closing words on the expedition:
In 2023, we led the last Trans-Africa Expedition on the eastern route through Africa
- Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt, despite the closed borders in Ethiopia and Sudan!
- With a quarter of a century of travel expedition and border training experience, I can wholeheartedly say that it was a challenging adventure of superlatives.
- This East Route adventure is history! The “stones” that are put in our way are insurmountable, so we open a new chapter and start the greatest African adventure!
- THE TRANS AFRICA West Expedition! The long arduous journey is to be understood exclusively as a FIRST TRIP! This trip is NOT an all-inclusive offer but is booked by you as an EXPEDITION with all its advantages and disadvantages
- This adventure is only suitable for men who feel fit and able to master thousands of kilometers full of surprises and Plan B routes with the travel enduro!
- The destination is Cape Town, but before you book you must be aware that it is possible that you will not reach the destination and that the expedition could be terminated on the way to the destination for political/environmental or time reasons! This means that you only book the start of the expedition with no guarantee of reaching the destination
Because safety first is the top priority on such an adventure!
This expedition involves the journey as a DESTINATION and not the destination as a journey.
Support vehicle on the Motorcycle tours
We expressly point out to all participants that this expedition is NOT an all-inclusive motorcycle tour and that kilometers and countries will be adjusted according to the course of the expedition.Starting in Southern Europe and ending in South Africa, everything in between is an adventure expedition that will ALWAYS be adapted according to the given conditions.. We have been running the Trans-Africa expeditions since 2016 and, due to the “package travel law” in Germany, we expressly point out that, like all OVERCROSS expeditions, this is “only” the intention (and not a guarantee) to reach the destination.
All participants will receive the actual planned expedition itinerary at the pre-meeting of the Trans-Africa Expedition including all information and knowledge we have gathered in the last ten years of expedition experience.
This tour is aimed at endurists who see the adventure with all its impassability as a challenge to reach the goal together. One for all, all for one is the motto of this adventure trip through Africa!
This Motorcycle Expedition, like every expedition, is more or less a first trip, some of which has already been scouted by Georg Winterberger..
