Your African group tour begins in the emerging African metropolis of Johannesburg. We leave the city of Johannesburg behind and embark on the 400-kilometer journey to Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), to the Milwane Wildlife Sanctuary (the oldest nature reserve in Eswatini), where we will be residing for the next two nights. On the way, we traverse the picturesque Mpumalanga. The Mpumalanga province in northern South Africa is known for its scenic beauty. Included meals: Lunch, Dinner.

This morning after breakfast, there is the opportunity to explore an intricate network of 9 hiking trails through Milwane with a guide. The different paths vary in difficulty, and there is something for everyone. During this hike, the unique landscape can be admired, and animals such as antelopes or wildebeests may be seen. After lunch, the afternoon is free for further activities. Milwane offers plenty of activities and adventures in the Ezulwini Valley. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Today, we are excited for the first safari on our African group trip. After a delightful breakfast, we head to a large reserve, namely the largest in Eswatini, the Hlane Game Reserve, thus departing from Milwane. The most well-known animals include elephants, rhinoceroses, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. The reserve consists of open savannas, dense forests, and dry streams, covering an area of 30,000 hectares and providing an unforgettable Africa Safari experience amidst the pristine wilderness of Eswatini, a must for every visitor wanting to experience Africa's fascinating wildlife and landscape. We leave the picturesque Eswatini on our adventure journey and cross the border into Mozambique (a former Portuguese colony), where we will arrive in Xai Xai in the afternoon. The city is known for its beautiful white beaches along the Indian Ocean and its colonial culture. We take a stroll along the beach, gaining insight into local life while greeting the ocean in all its glory. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

After we rise from our beds and enjoy a hearty breakfast, we head north. The impressive adventure journey through the southeastern corner of Africa reaches the coastal town of Vilanculos. Vilanculos is located on the southern coast of Mozambique, along the shores of Vilanculos Bay, part of the Indian Ocean. The town is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches, palm-fringed coasts, and clear turquoise waters. From here, you can explore the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago, snorkel, dive, fish, or simply enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. With its vibrant local culture, Vilanculos embodies diverse marine life and scenic dhow safaris, tropical tranquility, and adventure. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. After a delightful breakfast, we set off for Magaruque Island. We board a traditional dhow and set sail. We will spend the day exploring the island, snorkeling, and enjoying the beaches of this island paradise. Sunscreen and swimwear are a must today, as the day consists of plenty of sun, sand, sea, and discoveries. In the afternoon, we return and enjoy a relaxing rest of the day, as well as a well-deserved night’s rest. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Our adventurous group journey, full of safari and beach vacation, takes us to the palm-fringed beaches of the Inhambane district for two days of relaxation and enjoyment by the sea. We travel along the enchanting Mozambican coast back south, passing many impressive villages and plantations of coconut palms, cashew trees, and sugarcane. Inhambane is a historic city characterized by Portuguese colonial charm. Known for its rustling palms and tranquil beaches, the city offers a charming mix of African and colonial architecture. It is the gateway to dive hotspots like Tofo Beach, which is also famous for sightings of whale sharks and manta rays. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. The holiday spirit calls, as today we have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The beaches of Barra are safe for swimming, and the diverse reefs in this coastal section offer excellent opportunities for diving and snorkeling. Today begins after breakfast with a short drive to Tofo. We will spend the day enjoying another famous and picturesque beach destination in Mozambique. Tofo is perfect for a day trip, with safe swimming, a charming local market, and a host of good beach bars. We leave the days of beach holidays and the white dream beaches of the Indian Ocean behind us and continue our adventurous Africa group journey. Today we reach Maputo, the bustling capital and largest city in Mozambique. Maputo is a vibrant cool city; this African metropolis is truly impressive and offers a cultural diversity with varied architecture and an interesting history, and visiting the city wouldn’t be complete without a market stroll through the countless markets of the city. To be honest: big cities are more or less all the same (or so one thinks), but Maputo is a somewhat atypical African metropolis, with the heartbeat of the Mozambican people. We say goodbye to Mozambique, as our group tour in southeastern Africa takes us back to South Africa. The path leads to the Kruger National Park, the largest national park in Africa, with unique and unforgettable safari experiences calling us. This evening, we will enjoy a sunset game drive through the Nkambeni Reserve and hope to see as many animal species as possible. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Today is pure safari. We get up early to spend the day in the national park. Kruger National Park is home to the famous Big-5 members: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceroses, and the further wealth of wildlife and fauna offers us opportunities for unforgettable sightings. A game drive allows us to experience the national park from an open 4x4 vehicle. In the afternoon, we return to camp, and after a short break, there is the option to join an optional sundowner game drive. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Our impressive and unforgettable adventure group trip nears its end. Today we enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we head towards the Panoramic Route. Along the escarpment that divides the central plateau from the low-lying bushveld of Kruger, the variety of sights along the Panorama Route offers us a day full of scenic impressions. Before we return to camp in the afternoon, we will visit the highlights of Bourkes Luck Potholes (waterholes formed by erosion), the Three Rondavels (rock formations resembling traditional round African huts), and Gods Window (a viewpoint and photo spot with a unique view over the Blyde River Canyon). After the last breakfast of this unforgettable Africa group journey, we pack our safari experiences into our travel luggage.
