About Pravin Rohra
For Pravin, Asia isn't a market on a map but a collection of worlds: the high plateaus of the Pamir, the rice terraces of Vietnam, the deserts of Central Asia and the passes of the Himalayas. As product manager for the Asian region he turns them into journeys that are more than a string of sights.
He knows the region first-hand, keeps up the contacts with local partners, and plans routes that work even at great altitude and in real remoteness.
What draws him is the contrast – that a tour crosses desert in the morning and a 4,000-meter pass in the evening, and that guests aren't the same people at the end as they were at the start.
