Heinrich Barth, Africa explorer of the first hour, travelled the continent mostly only with a rough idea of the itinerary ("a journey is usually created on the journey"). This is the philosophy and content of the Trans Africa Expedition, which we have been planning and carrying out every year since 2014. There is a starting point and a destination of the expedition, in between there is the "incalculable" adventure Africa, which describes the spirit for this expedition. One of the last off road adventures is the EXPEDITION through: South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Rodesia, Zambia, Mali, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt. Since 2019, the "premium traveller" with OVERCROSS ZA can also book the private guided safari from Egypt across Africa to Cape Town with our expedition vehicle or with their own off-road vehicle. Our Zebra fleet (Land Rover Defender and Discovery) is available for the off-road safari exclusively with guide on request.

This safari has established itself in the last years as an experience-oriented "learning trip" and is under guarantee the coolest Sahara experience ever! The trip has been around since 2003, and since 2008 we have been able to credibly claim that we can reconcile three interest groups with this family adventure trip.
