ne of the toughest stages of the Trans Africa Enduro expedition is this indescribably exciting stage from the equator to the Mediterranean Sea. This enduro expedition leads us over the equator line into the cradle of mankind. Kenya and Ethiopia alone are so overwhelming that there is no reason to travel to the driest region of the Sahara. The Nubian desert is (besides the Algerian Sahara) one of the "geologically and geographically" most exciting regions of the Sahara. We follow the longest river of the world (approx. 6800 km) into the land of the Pharaohs. The Nile was already used by the Pharaohs as a means of transport 5.200 years ago and today serves us as a guideline to the largest and oldest pyramids on earth. The Cheops pyramid will be our last "waypoint" before the Mediterranean Sea, where our motorcycle expedition ends in Alexandria.
